FAQs

What do I need to wear?

You can wear anything that you feel comfortable working out in.  Most people wear leggings or long shorts and a comfortable top, although close-fitting clothes are best, as that way I can easily check your posture & alignment.  You can either wear socks or go barefoot

Do I need to bring a mat?

Yes!

I am a beginner, can I attend group classes?

Yes, absolutely! Pilates benefits everyone regardless of fitness, ability or injury. I offer varying levels within each exercise so you can modify according to your level. I am also available to do pre-class assessments for those who are complete beginners.

Do you offer a pay per class option?

I believe the benefits of Pilates are far-reaching and are obtained through regular practice. I offer block booking of classses in order for you to enjoy the maximum results from a structured and progressive course. However every few months I offer a drop in class for those wanting to try Pilates before signing up to a block,

Do you teach private sessions?

Yes, I teach private and semi-private sessions. Please contact me to book your private/semi-private session now.

How do I book onto a class?

You can reserve a  course though the website and Lauren will be in touch to make payment, this can be through BACS, cash or cheque. Payment reserves your place on the course.

 How much are your classes?

A block of 6 classes is £48. Once you have come to 6 classes & book onto the next block of 6 you will get one class for free.

Anything else I need to know?

Prior to the block starting you will be required to fill in a health screening questionnaire, this can be emailed to Lauren prior to the block starting or can be handed in before the first class. This is essential so Lauren is aware of any pre-exisiting medical conditions or injuries and appropriate exercise modifications can be made.
