  • You can wear anything that you feel comfortable working out in. Most people wear leggings or long shorts and a comfortable top, although close-fitting clothes are best, as that way I can easily check your posture & alignment. Grip socks are great but if not wear regular socks.

  • Just yourself! We are a fully equipped Pilates studio so everything is provided for your use throughout your class, if you would prefer to use your own that's fine by us. You are responsible for cleaning down all mats and equipment used in class ready for the next person.

  • Our address is The Studio, 11 The Courthouse, SY3 8QJ.

Head towards Theatre Severn, opposite Theatre Severn you will see Whitehorse Passage, keep walking up until you see Alma street on your right, the driveway to the studio is opposite - next to the grey curved clad wall. Walk up the narrow driveway and the studio is at the end where you’ll see a pink illuminated sign.

Note there may be a car parked in front of the door, but if you see a building with grey wooden cladding then you’ve found us!

  • If you have never done Pilates before then we ask that you complete our Breathe beginners course which is currently an online 5-week course you complete at your own pace. You can then join one of our Align classes. If you are recovering from injury or have pain then a One-to-One is the place to start.

  • The majority of the time we offer blocks of classes, however, Hannah is currently offering some trainee classes which are offered as a pay-as-go option and at a reduced rate whilst she builds her training hours. Please see the classes page for when these classes are offered.

  • Ample parking is available at the nearby Frankwell car park, just a few minutes’ walk from the studio. It is free after 6.00 pm or 70p for an hour during the day. If you are attending the studio for a One-to-one then you can park outside the studio.

  • We have two reformers and offer these as a Duet session (2:1), you can share a session with a friend and still receive the attentive teaching of Lauren. Contact Lauren if you’re interested in a duet session.

  • We are a fully equipped studio and use all of Joseph Pilates’ original apparatus. We have two reformers, a tower bar, chair, and ladder barrel, and use these in One-to-One, Duet sessions (2:1) and our Pilates circuits classes.

  • A 6-week block of mat classes at the studio is £66, 6 weeks of online classes via Zoom is £54 and 6 weeks of circuit equipment classes is £132.

  • With any new endeavour consistency is the key, when something is consistent it becomes a habit and you really notice the benefits. This is why we offer blocks of classes (sometimes described as ‘terms’) so that if you're new to Pilates, after your first block you'll feel the benefits and be hooked like we are! After all, Joseph Pilates famously said:

"In 10 sessions you'll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you'll see the difference, and in 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body". 🙂

  • Yay for you! if you're on holiday but boooo if you're ill! We offer the opportunity to make up any missed classes within the current block. We have a swap board in the studio where you can look and see what spaces are available within other classes over the term so you can find your make-up class.

Special note for Apple first generation iPad Air, iPad mini 2 or mini 3:

Apple ended update support for these devices in September 2019. They cannot be updated to iPadOS 13 (or any later major versions of iPadOS) as the internal hardware does not meet the minimum technical requirements for new versions of iOS/iPadOS. Therefore the Squarespace web platform will likely not function fully on these devices and we’re advised that you access your account via a newer device such as your smart phone, computer, or laptop.

If you continue to experience any issues, you’ve updated your browser, and you’re not using one of the devices mentioned above, please get in touch.
