 At Lauren Hilton Pilates we teach purposeful movement so that you can take the benefits of Pilates into your everyday life.

We offer Pilates equipment circuits, Reformer Pilates classes, Mat Pilates classes and specialist Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates classes. Our Pilates class offering will leave you with a feeling of positivity and strength that will radiate into every part of your wellbeing. Here are our different class types and timetable.

Beginners’ Pilates


MONDAYS

A 5-week studio course that will guide you through the foundations of Pilates with our expert Polestar-certified teacher Hannah.

You’ll strengthen all the muscles that support your spine, your pelvic floor, abdominals, spinal muscles, glutes, and all the muscles in between.

Expect to feel more flexible, improve posture, decrease anxiety and stress levels, and walk a little taller!

AT A GLANCE:

  • Learn optimal alignment so that you can move efficiently using the correct muscles.

  • Be guided through form and technique so there’ll be no doubt you’re ‘doing it right’.

  • Move efficiently with least effort and no pain

  • Utilise your breath to help with each of the exercises

Align Mat Pilates


Improvers

MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS

Align Mat Pilates improver classes are suitable if you have injuries or joint issues and we’ll guide you to modify movements to meet your body’s needs. We’ll explain the why behind the movements so that you really understand the foundations and encourage you to connect with your movements in a mindful way and experience the true connection between mind and body. Expect to get stronger all over.

Energise Mat Pilates


Intermediate

WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAY

For Energise Mat Pilates classes, you’ll already have a solid understanding of how your body moves and the foundational Pilates movements. We’ll focus on strength and stability, finding balance, and training your focus. Pilates exercises will stimulate your smaller and larger muscles; expect to move your body in a coordinated way and use your breath to maximise the potential of each movement. Not suitable for new or rehab clients.

Virtual Mat Pilates


Mixed level

MONDAYS

Every Monday evening, you can join in from home or wherever you are for a live class via Zoom. It’s a mixed-level mat class, so all are welcome.

It may not be suitable if you are new to Pilates, recovering from injury, or have chronic pain. In these cases, our online Beginners Course or One-to-One sessions may be appropriate before joining a group class.

Pregnancy Pilates


TUESDAYS

Our Pregnancy Pilates classes will nurture you through movements that will help your body cope with the growing weight of your baby, remain as free and mobile as possible, and avoid tightness, aches, and pains.

Learn how to connect, relax, and control the power of breath with the function of the pelvic floor for labour. Strengthen and prepare your body for an active birth and the physical demands of motherhood.

Babies, Lattes & Postnatal Pilates


WEDNESDAYS

Our postnatal class with your babes and a mini social aims to restore your body and nurture your soul. We'll focus on postnatal core restore exercises and at the end, we'll enjoy a relaxed chat with fellow mums over a nice hot cuppa. Prepare to feel a little more you, laugh, and almost certainly talk about poo!

AT A GLANCE:

  • Support you in reconnecting to your breath, the muscles of your pelvic floor and abdominals.

  • Help you check for diastasis recti and ensure that you build strength slowly from the inside out.

  • Correct posture which reduces the strain that motherhood places on the joints.

  • Strengthen your body for the physicality of being a mum.

  • Connect with other mums and babies over a cup of tea or coffee.

Pilates Equipment Circuit


TUESDAYS, FRIDAYS

A small group apparatus class that works in a circuit-style format using all of Joseph Pilates’ original apparatus; reformer, tower bar, ladder barrel, and Wunda chair. You'll feel released, stretched, and stronger after these classes. These classes are suitable for those injury-free and with Pilates experience. If you haven't used the equipment before please book a one-to-one before booking this class.

AT A GLANCE:

  • Using resistance provided by the equipment expect to lengthen and strengthen your muscles

  • A one-to-one is required before starting this class

  • Uses the reformer, tower bar, chair, ladder barrel and spine corrector, all Joseph Pilates; original apparatus

  • Work on improving mobility, flexibility and strength

  • Deepen your understanding of Pilates

  • Build your focus using the equipment

  • A group class with 4 participants

Reformer Pilates Class


FRIDAYS

A group reformer class with 3 participants. A class using the reformer to lengthen and strengthen your body as well as focus on your breathing and co-ordination.

These classes are suitable for those injury-free and with Pilates experience. If you haven't used the equipment before please book a one-to-one before booking this class.

  • Uses resistance and pulleys to build strength and control to develop lean and long muscles.

  • Improve your flexibility.

  • One-to-one required before joining this class

Pay-As-You-Go Pilates


SATURDAYS

Our mixed-level Pilates class suits anyone who has done a little Pilates before and is ready to build on these foundations. Try a class!

Taught by our Polestar-certified teacher Hannah.
